Hello  Adele cover. She is really good on this one. Connie is very popular over in asia almost as much as in Britain.

I've always liked this video, it is Connie performing at a private party in Spain, so I don't think too many people have actually seen this.

She goes up in the air like Jackie did at that One Drop event a couple years back. And there are some others in the air that make patterns, I thought that was neat.

Are you sure that this song with its title will be released in the USA, and not be censored. ;) Or if the song will be on the black list of a few radio stations? ;)
Perhaps it would be not a great idea to sing this song (title) at school if you don't want to be suspended.

I really don't want to make a joke, but what we read here in Europe sometimes totally shocked/amused.

At 2:00ff (Bridge)  you really hear that it was produced by someone who produced Sting in the 90s. Its the typical kind of Sting 90s sound in many of his songs during that time.

These statements are ridiculous. The song is about saying "shut up" to negative thoughts and emotions that may be holding a person back, and is a positive message for young people. If schools suspended students for saying "shut up", all schools would be permanently empty. Far worse things are said by students hundreds of times a day with few, if any, consequences.

As I indicated in the very few rules of conduct here, "If you don't happen to like certain artists, kindly avoid posting negative comments on their threads. This only annoys or upsets their fans." Following that request would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way that song will be censored in the USA, Till! Even most religious affiliated schools would find it acceptable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it!
It used to be unacceptable to use the term "Shut Up" in school, but nowadays it is commonplace. Its use is frowned on by educators in charge, but it would not be a cause for suspension. Here in the USA, the only thing that prevents anything from being released is a dispute over the right to the almighty $.

Connie mentioned on her FB page that this is her favourite Adele song at the moment. She made this video 3 months ago, and I had forgotten how great it is, so I decided to post it

Thanks Garth! That is so cool! Don't know how I missed that one. I think the lower register of Connie's voice is so good on that video! Overall a great video!

Connie sings Adele songs brilliantly. Her lower range vocals have come on in leaps and bounds and she handles changes in register smoothly.
Although I like her cover of 'Hello', I think 'When We Were Young' surpasses everything. As soon as it was posted to Youtube it became my favourite for listening.
Funny thing, but of the young singers in the UK, I've seen Katie Marshall, Molly Rainford, Ronan Parke, Charlie Botting and others perform live, and Hollie Steel, Sapphire and Skye several times, but I've never seen Connie at a live performance. That's something definitely on my list now.
