Jacob Collier

Post by Aixlachapelle on Sat Apr 02, 2016 6:52 am

First topic message reminder :

Jacob Collier (20/21?) will become - I think - the world wide role model for all young musicians.

Here is his first song of his album which will be released July, 1st.

Hideaway

On May 1st, June 1st, July 1st 3 other songs will be pre-released.

The complete album was made by himself in this room at his home where he lives with his mother and sister.

In the real early morning (own orchestral arrangement)

During that performence you could have heard a pin drop in the Royal Albert Hall- his control of his voice - incredible!

He is so good and I wish I could say that is my type of music, but it is not. I know--- poor Charlie----- but at least he is honest. :)

Maybe we just need some more culture, Charlie. I think eating yogurt might help! Studying

but only left turned ;)

I know that I claim a lot from you by this thread.

I could quote Mr Holland in Mr Hollands opus.
After his wife told him that she was pregnant he told her a story. (6:00 ff) the whole video fits ;)

I forgot about this kid! It's funny how someone can be such a unique genius, you hear about them a lot for a little while, then nothing. Looks like he has shows coming up in Korea and Australia in April & May anyway, so he's still active. I'm glad to see there's a thread here for him, also Joey Alexander!
