Dimash Kudaibergen

I couldn't believe there was no topic for this mind-boggling young man, so I'm starting one! Dimash Kudaibergenov is 24 year old, from Kazakhstan, and began training in vocals and various instruments at age 5. He trained in opera and classical music, but decided he wanted to go in a pop/crossover direction. He's known for his SIX octave range, but he doesn't only have a huge range - he also changes the timbre of his voice, so that at various times he may sound like an operatic baritone, a male rock singer, a female soprano, a male operatic tenor, etc. His incredible range is from C2[1] to D8[2], spanning from the baritone to soprano and whistle registers, as well as his ability to sing in 10 languages. He sounds so convincing in these totally different registers that scores of voice teachers & singers have been aghast and speechless, reacting to his performances on YouTube - when they finally manage to say something, it's pure praise for his control, consistency & technique.
