Daneliya Tuleshova

Daneliya is from Kazakhstan. She was the winner of Kazakhstan's Ayalagan Astana 2015 children's music competition and was awarded the People’s Choice Award at New Wave Junior in 2015. She won Voice Kids Ukraine in 2017 and was a Finalist on World's Best in 2019.

I had posted those New Wave Jr performances last night, but it looks like she deleted some of her videos today, including those. Not sure why.

She came that close to winning the competition, but her second performance didn't get very good marks and she dropped out of the running. Possibly nerves and song choice.

On the blind, the young vocalist performed a famous song by stone cold American singer Demi Lovato. Therefore, since it is now November 2017, over 2 years later, she would have to be 11. The only way that 10 would fit into the equation would be if the Voice Children auditions were held prior to June 18, which was her birthday. Then she would have still been 10 at the audition, but she is clearly 11 now.

Thanks for that and Danelya is an incredible singer and I've been aware of her since she released her first single "Kosmos" but thanks for pointing her out, she is certainly a singer I would want to know about.

That comment was posted on November 8 this year on her VK fan page so I suppose that somewhere along the line someone has got their dates mixed up (not you). Could she have been 8 when she was on New Wave?

Possibly----Steph usually posts only things that are related to current contests etc. I'll bet he will feature her soon on his "Song A Day". If I see it on facebook I will post it.  :D
