I voted for K.A.U.G.A
I think G may end up as the winner, even though I'm cheering for K.

I voted for Kazakhstan, Australia and Wales. Reason being I want Daneliya to win and would not vote for anyone else who I think has a chance, like Poland.
I notice you can only vote once now and then again in that 15 minute time frame after the show.

yep--seems silly-----I thought if I voted for more than 1 I was minimizing her chances.

I don't know how it works either. Maybe something like 10 points for your first pick, 8 for second and 6 for third. You just have to vote for three or five, not one, two or four lol.

I thought you had to pick at least 3 but could pick up to 5. I just picked the 5 I thought were best. I guess that includes potential competition though.
If I turn on the news Monday morning and hear that some fool from Canada decided the contest by one online vote, I may have second thoughts.

Another JESC where no one knows who wins until the fat lady sings. lol I didn't see where you picked 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th. You just picked them. Soooooooooooooo your votes counted the same for each of them -------therefore you lessened the value of your first choice by voting for the others. Clear as mud to me.Garth C wrote:bruce 34 wrote:Charlie M wrote:

I don't know if I believe this or not. It is just a poll, but it does give a clue as to how people liked the performers.

Disappointing result IMO. It wasn't available live here, but I'm not even going to watch the repeat.

"The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later."
That result is unbelievable!

I guess Bruce wins the prize. He picked Poland in second place and Australia in third. So he got Australia right on and picked 2 of the top 3.
BTW, the prize is a trip to Australia.

It wasn't hard to pick Poland. I thought they would win for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the views for their song on youtube were so far ahead of Daneliya it wasn't funny (she was second in the view count) and, secondly, because they performed last which gave them a huge advantage with the ADD sufferers
Australia surprised me
I really thought Daneliya should have received a whole lot more votes

Re: Junior Eurovision Song Contest
I was very disappointed in this contest as a whole! To see only one song and a kid and a country. I really like the Voice Kids competition where there are rounds and different songs and eliminations and semi finals and finals. You get a much better hold on the talent of the kid. It also lasts for weeks. I will probably watch this one next year with less enthusiasm.

I think the ADD sufferers are to blame. They watched Poland at the end and voted for them because they had forgotten all the other acts.

My last word for JESC this year. When they crossed to Russia to reveal who received their 12 points the kid announcing it was interacting with the swine. It gets around, much to my annoyance
