Emily Bear, her producer and mentor is none other than Quincy Jones. She shook hands with the US president and played in the White House when she was 6. How is it to be young and so famous?

She will have three concerts in Stuttgart, the last this Saturday evening.

We not only meet her at a concert we are allowed to accompany her and her mother for one day.

No, of course not on a playground - although Emily is not 14 yet. The TV tower seems to be a good place for a teenager visting Stuttgart and who wants to reach the top.

Emily finds it OK and the view is really fine but the symbolism - no, she sees (think of) that differently.


So down from tower and into a piano shop. And yes,....this is a good place for her. In a jiffy (in no time) the room is filling with Bach and Rimski-Korsakow, actually Emily is a classicaly trained concert-pianist.

She cannot remember a moment without piano but anyway she likes more to look into the/her  future. She really loves composing for movies and would like to do more in this genre.

So...why don't we try this out. How does it sound in a movie if the teen heroic character rides in a fast elevator on a high tower and looks down in summer wind.

Time to think ...not necessary

No, Emily Bear really don't need to worry about her future. Surely the young woman won't be a prodigy anymore but she will still be a miracle (wonder/marvel)

This video pulls back the curtain and offers viewers a glimpse into Emily’s insights on the creation of her composition, "The Bravest Journey - a salute to veterans". Inspired by the first-hand accounts of Rockford-area veterans and their family members, thirteen year-old Emily encapsulated the varied emotions of military personnel who had left their loved ones behind in order to fulfill their military duty with their comrades-in-arms.

On October 10, 2015, nearly 6,000 people gathered at the Stars & Stripes: A Salute to Our Veterans event in Rockford, Illinois to honor local veterans as well as the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Highlights included an address by General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), performances by the Rockford Symphony Orchestra with the Mendelssohn Chorale and the debut of “The Bravest Journey”, an orchestral piece composed and performed by Rockford native, Emily Bear.

But that was old, Emily had arranged for Street Piano Gala Opening "Bravest Journey" for 25 pianos.

In the meantime she graduated two years early "Summa cum laude" from High School and will now attend Berklee College of Music/Boston
