It commemorates some sort of women's day on March 8. I occasionally go to a Russian deli in Brisbane and they send me a newsletter each week with their specials. Last week they mentioned about this day and advised that any woman who visited the deli would get a complimentary glass of wine. The wine was actually Georgian rather than Russian but a free glass of wine is just that so it doesn't matter where it comes from.

I was just so rapt in the way Maria sang the song. If she is getting better with age imagine how she will sing when she is 12!!


This is how the song was described on Maria's VK fan page "DEAR WOMEN !!!! WE CONGRATULATE YOU WITH THE HOLIDAY OF MARCH 8 AND GIVE A CLIP THAT WILL NOT LEAVE ANYONE."

She was asked this on VK "The words are very mysterious, they really fascinate and you want to finish reading .. Do you write?"

Her reply "Thanks, unfortunately not myself."

When these deep thoughts are written I always translate all the comments to see if I can fathom what she is thinking about. I don't think the question and answer above show whether she definitely did or didn't write it. The way I see it is that it doesn't matter. The fact that she is even thinking about this stuff is pretty amazing for someone who only 9. So I am completely agreeing with what you said. The fact that she performs as well as she does, was not hiding behind the door when the good looks were handed out and obviously thinks about more than just playing with Lego makes her an outstanding young girl in my books.

It would be great if Maria would write an original song! I'll bet it would be full of deep thought and it should be in English!

A couple of weeks ago someone asked Maria, on her Instagram how she had lost weight since her first appearance on The Voice. A number of answers from fans supported Maria and claim that it more about what she was wearing, hair etc. I do think that some of her earlier videos showed that she was a bit plumper but that had long gone by the time she got to The Voice.

This short video may have something to do with how Maria looks after herself these days.

What I meant was how do you get the actual picture of the VK video to show on these posts. Garth does it in his posts.

Some people here say we should kick the US out of Pine Gap if the Donald gives us any grief lol.

While you are playing the VK video, click Share Code under the video, click Export and copy the Video Embed Code with 640x360 as the size. Then paste the Video Embed Code directly into your post.

I have noticed that the VK videos seem to get hung up in Safari on the forum, but they play OK in Chrome. Of course, I am about 5 updates behind on my operating system so that could be it.
