That isn't a channel, that's the Youtube database for the search query of her name. If you are looking for new videos based on her name, you would be better off to use this formula since all new posted videos should show at the top, which would save you time scrolling through the pages

Apparently there have been a number of people opening accounts using Maria's name. I guess it can be a little confusing for some and also diverting fans from the real accounts. It happens to a lot of successful artists and annoys them as well. So this is a small video showing the links to her real accounts.



What I found interesting was the reference to Odnoklassniki or OK. I had never heard of it before but after a bit of looking around it seems to be another version of VK, different format but similar ideas.

I thought I would mention it in case you hadn't heard about it and would maybe like to look at the pages of your favourite artists. There may be pictures there which are not in VK, same with videos.

So I suppose this is more of a PSA rather than anything

Nice find! It must be fairly new as I have never heard of it either and can't find too many artist pages just by Googling their name and "ok.ru". Seems to be quite a few pics on most pages but not many videos, Maria's page is the exception to that.

Wish I could understand this! BTW--- there have been some glitches on Maria's facebook-----anyone else notice?

This was a press conference. Maria said that recently she had been invited to a Holocaust commemoration event and there she recited a poem of which she said part: a small girl is asking her mother why they have to get their things and money and get together at the cemetery and her doll would be cold and finished by saying not long ago we all were people and now we are Jews. I think this was part of events around the Victory day. As you know the name of the song is Motherland

Thank you very much!! We try to enjoy these kids and I very much like Maria! When I was growing up we had very little exposure to Russia for political and fear reasons. I am glad you speak Russian and can translate into English! Thanks again!!

I actually watched the whole thing live. It started at 16:00 Moscow time which was 23:00 here. The four women who were there did all the talking so I couldn't understand anything. Maria recited the story and sang the song. The only thing keeping me awake was watching a 9yo occupying herself for 90 mins. We would say in this country that she was "bored shitless". I felt so sorry for her but that's the price she pays for the exposure. According to what I read about this Maria sang with some of the children who were invited which would have been good to see.

Yes, Charlie, I noticed a couple of posts on her FB which seemed to lack any content. Not sure what they were about.

There is an announcement on Maria's Instagram that she would sing a "beautiful song" in duet with Leonid Lagutin at 7:30 on Sunday at the program "Better than All" of Channel One. That is an achievement, Lagutin is a famous and popular singer and song-writer, he was judge in last year's Golos-deti (Voice-children)

 It is, indeed, very awesome.

We don't see Maria's mother, Veronika, very often and Maria got her well deserved medal although I don't see it taking pride of place anywhere lol. 

Interesting to see that the program conducts a poll of the eight acts which performed on the evening. At this moment Maria has 56.3% of the total vote, as we would expect.
