Laura is from the United States. She has won the Stars Of Tomorrow competition 3 times, and won Romania's Got Talent in 2016. She also finished 6th on America's Got Talent in 2016.

It seems that Laura also won the Chicago Bulls Kids Talent Search last year, as announced before the National Anthem in the second video. The first video is the semifinal one, I can't find a video for the final:

If you search for "Laura Bretan" on You Tube, you will find a plethora of videos. This young lady has a magnificent voice well-suited for opera. However, as we saw with Beau Dermott, the Golden Buzzer does not guarantee a winner. However, in this case, I would bet Charlie's hat she is in the finals. Here is another video of Laura I loved.

Thanks much Garth! I love watching this young lady perform. I say perform because she doesn't just sing, she pours her entire being into her songs. I wouldn't think a 13 year old girl could be capable of such intense emotion. Now, I'm going to have to watch AGT in spite of Simon Cowell. I fear American audiences do not appreciate opera as much as Romanians do.

Irregardless, Laura will be a huge success if she can keep Simon's hooks out of her.

Here we go again.....Remember when the Opera Association jumped all over Jackie Evancho for singing opera during AGT. Well, these purists did not take long to bash Laura either. However, the article ends with a sort of resignation.

I can bed happy now. The world is still normal after all... Normie's got all fired up, he's got someone to tip a bucket of drivel on.
Fortunately I don't think the Romanians and least of all Laura will be overly concerned. He likes picking on the young ones though......
