Ana Kodra

Ana is from Albania. She was a finalist on Tu Si Que Vales (You Are Worth It) in 2015 and competed on Gjeniu I Vogel (Little Genius) in 2016. She won 1st place at the International Children's Festival "Tra La La" in 2017, and she represented Albania in the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She was also a Finalist on the 2018 season of Voice Kids Albania.

This is my favorite Ana video  She is a very talented kid! I guess Albania will not participate in JESC 2017. That would be a shame! She would be perfect! Lots of problems with YouTube for me lately. Hope this posts.

I just noticed in the Comments under that article, someone says the date for the final is actually the 30th, not the 26th as indicated in the article. That would sort of make sense that it would be on the weekend since the kiddies are back in school now. So we may have to keep everything crossed for a few days longer than expected. :cyclops:

ANA KODRA WINS ALBANIA JESC FINAL!!!

Ana Kodra will represent Albania with “Mos ma prekni pemën”!


On Saturday night, RTSH held Junior Fest 2017 to choose Albania’s entry for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Following 16 fantastic performances, it was Ana Kodra who won the jury’s hearts and the Albanian ticket to Tbilisi! Ana will represent Albania with her song Mos ma prekni pemën which translates as Don’t Touch the Tree.

Ana finally wins the ticket she dreamed of!

Back in June, Ana also won Festivali i Këngës për Fëmijë with the same song. Indeed, that competition had been used in the past to select previous Albanian Junior Eurovision entries, including Dambaje and Besoj. At the time, Ana signalled her interest to go to Junior Eurovision. Nevertheless, RTSH chose to relaunch Junior Fest 2017 to select the Albanian entry.

Originally due to be held at the end of September, the competition was postponed until October 14th. You can read more about the sixteen entries here. Ana was once again victorious with the same track and will head to Tbilisi after all! Congratulations Ana, you can watch her performance below.

Funny! I was thinking the same thing. This must be overwhelming for a kid her age and stature. The kids get to vote and I have seen some strange things happen in this contest in the past. Who knows? Last year is exactly what I am talking about.  :D

The name of little lady Ana Kodra is already known for the Albanian public, as she has featured that early for her talent and voice her. Yes at the age of 9, Ana wins the second prize in the "Nationwide Children's festival in shkodra" and in November of 2016 wins the third prize at the international children's festival "Pristina kids fest", as well as the right To represent Albania at the "International Festival for children tra la la", in Macedonia, where she occupies the first place with the song "Suus" ("in this world where love doesn't live anymore."). She won the first place even in the nationwide festival "mollëkuqet", in gjilan, with the song "a genius I want to be", song by etmond mancaku and with lyrics to George Papingjit.
In June of this year, Ana Kodra grabs the first 2 prizes in the "International Children's festival in shkodra", taking the award as best vocalist and the award for best song titled "don't touch the tree", Song this composed by composer Cristi Popa, text from George Papingji.
The little singer Ana Kodra, was announced the winner of Junior Fest Albania, thus winning the right of representation of Albania at Junior Eurovision song contest.
So with the song 'don't touch my tree', Anna will climb the Junior Eurovision stage on November 26th in Georgia's tbilisi.
In addition to rare talent in interpretation of music, she has the talent of spikatuar to play even on the piano, singing in parallel, this because the five years of teaches this instrument at the artistic high "Jordan Misja" in tirana.
Let's not forget, this little singer is the daughter of-Novelistes Mrs.. Teuta Kodra Keli.
I beg God for this rare talent of our nation to introduce us to the proper and seize the first prize in this international festival!
