Sofia is from Ukraine and was a contestant on Voice Kids Ukraine and Ukraine's Got Talent in 2017. She was also a national finalist for Ukraine Junior Eurovision in 2016 and 2017.

Thank you to Sofia for her videos.

I read yesterday that the Russians had killed Mriya. The Ukranians wanted to get it out of the country but unfortunately it was being serviced and one engine had been removed and there was no time to replace it.

It was on my bucket list to see. It had only been to Australia once, and that was in Perth a couple of years ago. Perth is on the other side of the country to where I live.

Mriya was a cult airplane and everywhere it went thousands turned out for a glimpse.

Of course, peoples lives are more important than Mriya but it is still sad that such an icon was needlessly destroyed.
