Sofya is from Novomoskovsk, Russia. She was a finalist for Russia at JESC 2013 and also competed in the first season of Russia's "The Voice Children" in 2014.

I haven't seen exactly why Sofya is in Taiwan. It was said by some there was a concert involved.

So this is a performance with some stage management at an inappropriate time.

I have seen a couple of these Q&As before and find them a bit cringey especially the one asking why she didn't have a boy friend. That last scene where she was surrounded by all those kids reminded me a bit of that Chinese wave pool posted on the other forum  :)

Yes, it is. I really liked the videos from JESC where she was speaking English specially the conversations with the Dutch girls.
