Along the River by Saida.  Ran across this video a little while ago. she is 14yo Russian singer from Tartarstan. Her singing is different mesmerizing. This is a tartar folk song about the men getting notice to go to war during world war 2 and how there families are missing them. Saida was also on the voice kids russia 2015.    Take time to listen to singers from over the world in there native languages. You may not know what they are saying but the songs and melodies sound beautiful. Enjoy.

Some things Saida and Maria Mirova have in common, besides both being extremely talented and having great abilities at very young ages - they both seem to be very nice and humble kids, despite being very confident while performing. If I had kids I'd want them to be like these 2!

Hey Ellis - I'll be sure to look Liya up, thanks! I'm not sure exactly how the forum works, maybe I would get a notification when you mention me in a post? But my registered name is "Fretfire" ... "Fretwire" is fine with me too, that's the actual metal fret on stringed instrument, lol. But just thinking I'd see your posts quicker if the registered name is correct.

You will normally only get a notification if you have posted in a topic and/or if there is a reply to your post. If you want notifications on topics you have not posted in, you have to click "Start Watching This Topic" which is at the bottom right, under the last post of the topic.

If you have not posted in a topic and are not watching it, you will not get a notification, even if someone mentions your name in a post under that topic.

Sometimes, I don't get notifications when posts are made even when I should, so it is not 100% reliable. The best thing is to check the Latest Topics sidebar fairly regularly if you don't want to miss anything.

Excuse my butting in That was beautiful! I didn't see a blond boy. The little girl in the middle is Taisiya Podgornaya and she has a thread on this forum. We all her here.
