Eva is from Moldova and finished 5th in the New Wave Jr. singing contest in 2015. She was a Finalist in Kids' Voice Russia and Next Star Romania in 2016. In 2017, she finished 4th on Romania's Got Talent. She was also a Semi-finalist on The Voice Romania in 2018.

I heard her say Marilyn Monroe as well, plus she mentioned Shakira. I didn't think that that little girl looked like Marilyn Monroe, but if I lived over there and had any show biz clout, I would sign her up to for a modern remake of the movie Annie or a musical theatre version of Annie. She would be perfect for that, she has the personality, stage presence and radiant smile.

The judges didn't see any of that unfortunately because they had their backs to her, which is the one problem with the Voice show concept. Finding a star is about more than just vocals, it's the total package.

I agree! I think she could play just about any role. Come to think of it, a young Marilyn is not totally out of the question. This should probably be on the Voice Kids thread, but Eva won't mind.

I don't really know how that Next Star contest works, but I think Super Finals is better than Grand Prix ( I could be wrong though)  

Eva was interviewed with her mother in a TV studio. She also sings at the end of the interview.

Guess that came from comments on facebook. That is so sad! I am a follower of Veronica Rotin from Malta and her mother almost deleted her facebook because of such things. Nude and porn that showed up in addition to such hurtful comments. Luckily Eva has an older sister who looks after her, just like Veronica's mom! DISGUSTING! :x

I saw that earlier when looking at her fb. I have not seen any of those comments when I look at her fb and vk pages. Obviously we don't get to see private messages sent to her and I'm thinking that is where she is getting these comments from.

Having seen a few disparaging remarks on yt comments I'm wondering if what her sister is referring to comes from Russians who are not happy with the fact that "the foreigner" is the best singer on The Voice and might actually be some sort of chance to win it.

At 13 you would think that Eva would know these comments are just from keyboard warriors but still it must hurt her.

When I was looking at some of Beau's(girl from BGT) earlier videos there were some nasty remarks from one particular person and if that happens to an 11yo I suppose it happens to them all. On the "plus" side these young performers have to be good at what they do otherwise jealousy and the desire to put them down wouldn't happen.
