It's a pity that the director or cameraman of the last video (4. Abonentní koncert Českého filharmonického sboru Brno) didn't notice that Patricia is mostly hidden behind the note stand.
Also - my opinion - the lighting for the solo singers is not the best, they are all too much in the shadow...
Besides this, nice concert

A couple of years ago Patricia won an audition to sing the role of Gilda in an Italian film version of "Rigoletto". Does anyone know how this project is progressing (if at all)?

No, I have not heard anything and can't find anything about it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it got delayed or possibly cancelled due to the Covid situation.

Does anyone have a video of Patricia singing "Caro Nome"?

As far as I'm aware, there are two recordings: the first is audio only from Karlovy-Vary in 2016, to which Amor Omnia Vincit has added some photos from the event, and the second is Talentinum 2018 which I think is smartphone footage.

I'm puzzled because I have videos of Patricia at Talentinum singing "O mio Babbino caro" and "Quando m'en vo" in higher quality, so I'm hoping that maybe there is a video of "Caro Nome" at the same quality?

I'm slowly adding subtitles to videos of Patricia's performances, to benefit those newcomers to opera who can't resist her.

This is a recent concert. There was another recent one that has since gone down along with the related individual videos of it, likely due to copyright, unfortunately. And many other Patricia videos seem to have gone down lately as well as my playlist is down 25 videos.

I came across this video that I hadn't seen before. I am guessing it is around 2011, in the Talentmania days. If anyone knows a more exact date, let me know.

I had posted over thirty videos, each with subtitles in the original language and English, to help viewers understand

a) what Patricia was singing and
b) why she was singing it.

Five of these videos were taken from her New Year concert 2017 (Les Ouiseaux, Fruhlingstimmen, Mein Herr Marquis, Meine Lippen and Quando m'en vo). I received notification in November that the publisher of these videos, Bellevoice, had issued a copyright strike against each one. No login, comments gone, subscriptions gone, videos gone.

A few thoughts:

This is fair enough if I had received three consecutive strikes, but I received all five in one go;

There are exceptions to copyright, known as "fair use", one of which is amendments to make the original more accessible. This is precisely my motive for adding the subtitles;

I mentioned these to YouTube under their "if you think you have been wrongly treated" option but they weren't interested. I emailed Bellevoice too, with the same effect.

The final and most important point is that I have read at least one comment to a YT video who claims that these videos are being taken down by "Janeckova herself". This is nonsense, as her original videos are expressly released as CCA reuse. I also find it an offensive way to refer to her.

It's very unfortunate that happened and I feel badly for you, having put in all that time and effort. I think that a couple of other fans got copyright strikes as well and then just set the rest of their videos to Private. I can only hope they are eventually made Public again and reappear on my Patricia playlist.

Ultimately, it is the fans who lose out, especially the newer ones who will never see the videos that are no longer on Youtube.

Dear friends, this year was supposed to be full of beautiful concerts and theater performances. Everything is different. A few days ago I found out from the doctors that I am going to have a big fight. Cancer was, is and will be among us and although I always thought that youth equals health, it is not true. Biopsy results showed a malicious breast tumor.
With a heavy heart I have to leave the stage for a while and cancel all concerts so I can fully fight and heal myself. Doesn't mean I'll stop singing though! As soon as I get the power I will be singing and recording for you. Something just won't get me!
